Garibaldis Garden City

Went here recently. I’m always up for trying a new Mexican restaurant! The place looks very fancy & I loved their Christmas décor they have up. It was pretty empty but we also went during happy hour during a weekday. Happy hour included a buy one drink get a drink for free, with certain drink options. We ordered a combination of margaritas, Coconut mojito, & Strawberry mojitos. The margarita were probably one of my favorite around! They were very good! The group didn’t love the coconut mojito but the strawberry mojitos were a favorite for the table. I loved that they came with a sugarcane stick, such a fun accent in these drinks. Chips & salsa are not included at this restaurant, unlike other Mexican restaurants which is kind of a let down. We ended up order the Salsa flight which came with 3 different salsa options. They were pretty good. We weren’t a fan of the pineapple habanero salsa. It was really different, cool to try but we didn’t end up trying too much of it. I ordered cheese enchiladas with green sauce. They were really good! The rice comes out in a little pyramid, very unique presentation. I thought the green enchilada sauce was really good. My two friends ordered the beef enchiladas with red sauce. One of them enjoyed it & one of them did not. Overall it was a yummy place, staff was so very friendly, drinks were delicious but it was pretty pricy compared to other places around. Go during happy hour & make it worth it for your drinks!

What a great experience! We came here for an early dinner not knowing what to expect. What a pleasant surprise. This is not ‘your father’s Mexican restaurant.’ The menu is unique and very creative. The decor and atmosphere is very nice - not the normal garish stuff you see in most establishments. We started with the corn / crema appetizer then shared a ‘hot-pot’ of chicken, steak, shrimp, and cactus in a cheesy spicy sauce. Served with guacamole, sour cream, salsa - perfect with the warm tortillas! The spicy watermelon margaritas were excellent.

Incredible find here in Garden City! Probably the best service we have had in years! Super clean restaurant with unparalleled service! The food was fresh and full of flavor. The spicy pineapple salsa was the perfect balance between sweet and heat. The shrimp dish with the cream was an all time favorite. I always order it nearly everywhere and this one was the best! The birria tacos were very good. The fish tacos were solid, but would have loved a little texture in addition to the cabbage they had in it. Will absolutely be back!

Growing up in Jerome, we are at Garibaldi's once a week. So naturally we were so excited to try this one!! It exceeded all expectations, we left so full and happy. We even decided to order some food to-go, so dinner is covered! The enchiladas Suizas AMAZING, 2 carnitas street tacos, and of course some of the BEST Barria We've ever had!! Highly, highly recommend!! The atmosphere is great & the service was outstanding!! Well be back again and again!!!

Second time being here and the food was just as good as the first time. Had to get the molcajete loco again. Our table of 8 wasn't the easiest to handle but the waiter did a great job and always kept a good attitude which I appreciated. The place was clean and had good music playing as well. Definitely a must visit spot for Mexican food.
